We Are the Champions!

Well, not quite yet, but let's celebrate the awesome US soccer/football victory, which happened in the epitome of team sports movie fashion.

Forgive the nationalism and the gushing, but we have a good looking team. I think soccer players are the athletes I find the most attractive - had crushes on them since I was a kid, and definitely wanted to be good at the sport back in middle school. Sadly, I was never that great, but I have thoroughly enjoyed getting back in the spirit watching the World Cup this summer.

But getting to the point - beyond being impressive as players, these dudes are sexy AND sassy.

Case in point, Landon Donovan - who has saved the team a few times in the past few games with some choice goals.

While, my current crush, Clint Dempsey (Who could be brotherhood?! - i.e. cousin named, Arya Ashtari) has got skillz that rival other athletes turned rappers (Go to 2:38 to see the freestyle).

But sometimes sass isn't quite in your face. Confident Tim Howard exudes sass in how he protects that goal.
Though pouting, tats, and being all dirty/oily/hot c/o of an Interview photo shoot doesn't hurt. either. Check that video out, it's the best counter to those behind-the-scenes vids they do for cover girls in Complex magazine. In any case, I'll be rooting for them in the tournament and will keep loving the sass these players bring on and off the field.
